According to a report by Business Insider, while the booming economy is good for most industries, recruiters say that today's labor market is the tightest its been since 1969, leading to the toughest recruitment stretch in decades.The Wall Street Journal's Chip Cutter originally reported that with available jobs in the US outpacing the number of people looking for work, recruiters across the country are getting blown off and seeing their emails and calls ignored. One recruiter reportedly said that hiring a tech engineer today is the hardest its been since the dot-com boom of the late 1990s.
