Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez again called President Trump a "racist."

Democratic Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez on Tuesday doubled down on her assertion that President Trump is a racist.
"The President defended Neo-Nazis who murdered a woman in Charlottesville," she tweeted. "The Dept of Justice sued him for not renting to Black tenants. He launched his campaign by calling Mexicans 'rapists.'"
"He banned Muslims," she continued. "The President is racist. And that should make you uncomfortable."
Days ago, during a CBS' "60 Minutes" interview, she said that Trump "certainly didn't invent racism. But he's certainly given a voice to it and expanded it and created a platform for those things."
When asked by Anderson Cooper if she believes Trump is a racist, she replied: "Yeah, yeah, no question."
In response to her remark, the Washington Post notes: "A White House statement said that Ocasio-Cortez's 'sheer ignorance on the matter can't cover the fact that President Trump supported and passed historic criminal justice reform,' adding that the president has also 'repeatedly condemned racism and bigotry in all forms.'"
