00:00— You have used words like animal and rabbit to describe black district attorneys.
00:05You've attacked black journalists, calling them a loser,
00:07saying the questions that they ask are, quote,
00:10stupid and racist.
00:12— I think it's disgraceful that I came here in good spirit.
00:17I love the black population of this country.
00:20I've done so much for the black population of this country.
00:23— So do you believe that Vice President Kamala Harris
00:26is only on the ticket because she is a black woman?
00:28— Well, I can say, no, I think it's maybe a little bit different.
00:31So, I've known her a long time indirectly, not directly very much,
00:36and she was always of Indian heritage,
00:40and she was only promoting Indian heritage.
00:43I didn't know she was black until a number of years ago,
00:46when she happened to turn black, and now she wants to be known as black.
00:50So, I don't know, is she Indian or is she black?
00:52— She is always identified as a black official until historically black college.
00:55— I respect either one, but she obviously doesn't,
00:58because she was Indian all the way,
01:00and then all of a sudden she made a turn, and she went—
01:03she became a black person.
01:05— Just to be clear, sir, do you believe that she is a—
01:06— And I think somebody should look into that, too,
01:08when you ask a continue in a very hostile, nasty tone.
01:12— It's a direct question, sir.
01:13Do you believe that Vice President Kamala Harris is a DEI hire,
01:17as some Republicans have said?
01:18— I mean, I really don't know. Could be.
01:20— But would you consider taking the cognitive test, Mr. President?
01:22— I would love to do it.
01:23— And make it public.
01:24— Well, I've already taken two of them, but I'll do it again.
01:26— Mr. President, how do you intend to—
01:29— I suggested, Harris, that— let's take one.
01:33I said, Joe and I will go and take a cognitive test.
01:35Now, I'd do it with her, too.
01:38I would do it with her also.
01:39You know what?
01:40She failed her law exam.
01:42She didn't pass her law exam,
01:43so maybe she wouldn't pass the cognitive test.
01:45— Mr. President—
01:46— Are you saying she wouldn't pass?
01:47Just to be clear, you—
01:48— I'm just giving you the facts.
01:49— To be clear, you don't think Harris—
01:50— How do you intend—
01:52— She didn't pass her bar exam,
01:54and she didn't think she would pass it,
01:56and she didn't think she was going to ever pass it,
01:58and I don't know what happened.
02:00Maybe she passed it.
02:00— She did pass it.
02:01— There's a man over here, I think, who must work.
02:03— We all here remember what those four years were like.
02:07And today, we were given yet another reminder.
02:12This afternoon,
02:15— Donald Trump spoke at the annual meeting
02:23of the National Association of Black Journalists.
02:28And it was the same old show.
02:32The divisiveness and the disrespect.
02:37And let me just say,
02:40the American people deserve better.
02:43The American people deserve a leader who tells the truth.
02:49The American people deserve a leader who tells the truth.
02:54A leader who does not respond with hostility and anger
02:58when confronted with the facts.
03:01We deserve a leader who understands
03:05that our differences do not divide us.
03:10They are an essential source of our strength.
