Magical ‘crying’ tree turns out to be cicada pee

Villagers in Kampung Petani, Sering, in Kota Bharu, Kelantan were shocked by the phenomenon of a ‘crying’ stink bean or petai tree. The ‘tears’ turned out to be the pee of cicadas feeding on the tree.
