TMC ministers to meet President to withdraw support - NewsX

Time is fast ticking for the Congress. Trinamool Congress ministers have sought time from the Prime Minister for tomorrow in keeping with their leader Mamata Banerjee's deadline. Sources in TMC have told NewsX that Railway Minister Mukul Roy wrote a letter on behalf of all TMC ministers making the request. Two ministers of TMC are already in the capital and the remaining four ministers are landing later today. We also learn that Mukul Roy has put in a request for an appointment with the President. A clear indication that Mamata is going ahead with her withdrawal plan with no real word of the government accepting her three demands. Mamata laid out three conditions for a possible continuance with the UPA. Roll back of the FDI in Retail, cut in diesel price hike by two rupees and increasing the number of subsidised LPG cylinders per year to 24.
