UP: Jaunpur SP thrashes protesters to control them - NewsX

Lawlessness continues to surface its ugly head in Uttar Pradesh. In Jaunpur, the top cop there plays judge by assaulting protestors by slapping and kicking them. The protestors were pleading against the demolition of a temple built in Railway land. In another incident in Amroha, police remain mute spectators to a girl being tied to a pole and beaten by public for reportedly stealing a saree.
