The Delhi High Court on Wednesday stayed the fresh draw of lots being conducted for admission in nursery classes and asked the city government to furnish all requisite data and details on the issue relating to unaided recognised private schools in New Delhi.

"In the meantime, the fresh draw of lots to be conducted in pursuance of the (single judge bench) order dated March 6 shall not take place.

"We also make it clear no admission shall take place till next date of hearing," a bench comprising Acting Chief Justice B D Ahmed and Justice Siddharth Mridul said while fixing the appeal for hearing on March 24.
