The Animals of Farthing Wood S01E05 Snare for the Unwary
The usually-cowardly Pheasant volunteers to go back to the farm to find Adder. Sadly, despite Adder's warnings, he makes too much noise when he sees his wife's plucked roasted corpse, and he too is shot. Owl then flies on to find Adder at sunset, and both have a conversation about the possible demise of Fox as the group leader, while enjoying a house rat killed by Adder for dinner.
At the copse, the animals make friends with the local rooks and spend the evening listening to their singing, and that of Weasel and Toad. Owl and Adder rejoin in the morning, only to find one of baby rabbits trapped in a snare. Luckily he is freed when Owl suggests Mole dig the snare out of the ground. Leaving the copse, the animals attempt to cross a river. Unfortunately, the rabbits panic and Fox exhausts himself carrying them. Badger tries to help Fox out of the river but they are swept away by some massive drift wood.
