Batair Karahi Recipe Tasty Quail Karahi Recipe By Urdu Recipe

INGREDIENTS:

*Quail (600 gm)
*Oil (1/2 cup)
*Ginger & Garlic Paste (1 1/2 tbsp)
*Onion Chopped (1 small)
*Tomatoes Chopped (5 large)
*Yogurt (1 tbsp heaped)
*Dry Fenugreek Crushed (1 tsp)
*Turmeric Powder (1/4 tsp)
*Red Chilli Powder (1/2 tsp)
*Red Chilli Flakes (1 & 1/2 tsp)
*Salt (1 tsp heaped)
*Whole Spice Powder (1/4 tsp)
*Cumin Seeds {rosted & crushed} (1 & 1/2 tsp)
*Coriander Seeds {rosted & crushed} (1 & 1/2 tsp)
*Green Chillies (5-6)
*Ginger Julienne (1 tbsp)
*Coriander Leaves Chopped (2 tbsp)



METHOD:
1.Take a pot, add oil, chopped onion and dry fenugreek crushed. Cook untill very light golden in colour (on med flame).
2.Add Ginger & Garlic Paste. Saute for 1-2 mins (on med flame).
3.Add Chopped Tomatoes, Red Chilli Powder, Red Chilli Flakes, Turmeric and salt. Mix it Cover and cook untill oil separated and masala completly cooked (on low flame).
4.Add Quail (cleaned & washed), yogurt, Cumin seeds {roasted & crushed}, Coriander seeds {roasted & crushed}, Whole Green Chillies and Ginger Julienne. Mix it well, Cover and cook for 20 mins (on low flame).
5.After 20 mins, quail has completly done. Now, add chopped green coriander leaves and all spice powder. Mix it well and simmer for 2 mins.
6.After 2 mins, dish it off and serve with naan and chapati.
