Hero MotoCorp has finally come out with a new Hero Passion Pro i3s, which is an update to the outgoing Passion Pro model. The upgrade comes with not much of difference but mainly three new and exciting features. The bike now comes with an Always-on headlamp for safety reasons. Hero Passion Pro i3S OverviewThe bike is built according to the BSIV standards and third features, which are the most important part of the transformation, that is, i3S technology. The i3S technology is the start-stop feature that switches off the engine when at idle and starts automatically with the pull of the clutch.

In terms of design, not much has changed. The bike carries forward the same design like the Passion Pro was. It gets the i3S badging, which is visible across the bike. The kill switch has been replaced with a start-stop mechanism, which can be turned off. The electric start button is now red in colour. The other new bit is the tail pipe that has been changed. The design looks a lot sleeker than before and even the tail lamps have been refreshed.

The engine on Passion Pro i3S is a 100cc one that is shared with the Splendor i3S. This engine produces about 8bhp of power and 8.05 Nm of peak torque. This comes mated to a four-speed transmission with all-up pattern. This is the same like the Splendor and other Passion pro bikes. What it gets is kick and even electric start. At the moment, it is available only with drum brakes. In the near future it will get disc brake for the front wheel.

This being a 100cc engine, it is the same like the Splendor i3S. It will should return a mileage of close to 100 km/l. This will be the fuel efficiency of this bike. A high mileage will be useful for a buyer.

Hero will be launching this bike with multiple colours. There will be dual tone colour options as well. To begin with, there will be a red and black, then there will be only black, and only red. There will be Force Silver, Mystic White and black with blue. This is a more trendy bike and Hero Passion Pro i3S will get multiple colour options.

The bike has been launched with a single variant only. It will be priced at INR 56,500 (on-road, New Delhi). Hero MotoCorp hasn’t made any announcements for the launch of this bike. At the moment, the company website also doesn’t have any details on the Hero Passion Pro i3S. However, it is already made available at the dealerships. The company might announce the pricing a bit later officially.
