Released for 'Star Trek: Picard' The new CBS All Access show will
see Patrick Stewart reprising his
iconic role as Jean-Luc Picard. Stewart played Picard for seven seasons on
‘Star Trek: The Next Generation,’ which aired
from 1987 to 1994, as well as in four movies. ‘Star Trek: Picard’ will reportedly follow Picard
into “the next chapter of his life,” picking up 18
years after the events of 'Star Trek: Nemesis.' CBS has also confirmed Santiago
Cabrera, Isa Briones, Alison Pill and
Harry Treadaway as regulars on the show. Alex Kurtzman, executive producer on the
show, revealed ‘Star Trek: Picard’ will follow a
“different rhythm” than the original series. Alex Kurtzman, via
‘Entertainment Weekly’ CBS has yet to announce a
release date for the show.
