[DE] Einfach mal auf die Straße gestellt und die Kamera gezückt. Der Straßenverkehr in Indien bietet immer interessante und abwechslungsreiche Szenen und Motive; da kann man nichts falsch machen. Ich stehe mitten auf dem Surajpole-Kreisel in Udaipur im Stadtteil Brahmpuri, östlich vom Pichola See und dem Stadtpalast. Der Schwenk beginnt mit einem Blick in nördliche Richtung in die Ashoka Cinema Road, Stadtviertel Thakkre Baba Colony. Der Verkehr auf der Kreuzung ist mit einer Ampelanlage geregelt. Vorsichtshalber gibt es nur für eine einzige Fahrrichtung grünes Licht. Fahrspuren, Markierungen und auch die Fußgängerampeln sucht man hingegen vergeblich. Wie man sieht, es geht auch ohne ganz gut.

I am standing in the middle of the Surajpole roundabout in Udaipur in Brahmpuri, east of Lake Pichola and the City Palace. The sequence starts with a view to the north into the Ashoka Cinema Road, Thakkre Baba Colony district. The traffic at the intersection is regulated by a traffic light system. As a precaution, there is only green light for one single direction of travel. Lanes, markings and also the pedestrian lights you are searching in vain. As you can see, it works well even without it.
