Who can resist noshing on yummy garlic bread before the pizza or spaghetti is served? Once you taste these easy-to-make knots, that main course may not even be necessary!
You'll Need:
For the butter:
- 4 tsp parmesan
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley
- 1 chopped garlic clove
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1/4 cup olive oil
For the dough:
- 2 cups flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 2/3 stick butter
- 2/3 cup yogurt
Here's How:
1. Mix all the ingredients for the buttery topping in a small bowl.
2. Add the flour, salt, sugar, baking powder, and butter to a separate bowl and knead the ingredients together. Finally, pour in the yogurt and continue to knead until you have a smooth dough.
3. Take small portions of the dough, and roll the portions out on a work surface to create long strands. Tie the strands into knots.
4. Dip the knots into the butter, and place them onto a lined baking sheet. Bake for 14 minutes at 350°F.
