1. Festive 3D Christmas card:
You'll need:
- 1 sheet thick white paper
- 1 sheet thick red paper (a little larger than the white)
- glue stick
- metallic gift ribbon
- little gold stars
First take the white paper and lay it horizontally in front of you. Fold it in half in the middle, so that it opens like a book, then smooth down the folded edge.
Take a pencil and a ruler, and turn the paper so that the folded edge is facing toward you. Draw three columns on the paper, with the fold forming the bottom edge of each one. Make sure the 1 x 1 inch, 1½ x 1½ inch and 2 x 2 inch columns are drawn next to each other and centrally on the paper. You can mark the top edge of all three using pencil dashes.
Now cut along the upright edges of the columns, but not along the fold, or the pencil dashes. For each column, place a ruler along the line of dashes and then fold the paper over it.
Next, turn the paper over so the pencil marks are on the back. Then pinch up the folded paper columns between their cut edges, as shown in the picture below.
Now fold the red sheet of paper in half, the same as you did with the white. Stick the white paper to the red paper, so that the red piece forms an equal border all the way around the white. The folded columns should still be pointing inward after you have done this — they should not be stuck down.
When you open your Christmas card, you should see three cube shapes in front of you. Stick a strip of ribbon on both sides of the largest cube. Repeat the steps for the other two cubes, but make the ribbon strips narrower as the boxes get smaller. At the top, stick two small strips at an angle, so that they look like the ribbon on top of a gift.
For the final step, glue a scattering of decorative stars inside the card.

2. Christmas Tree Table Decorations
You'll need:
- pine cones
- green acrylic paint for spraying
- wine corks
- hot glue gun
- small decorative stars
First spray the pine cones with the acrylic paint and leave to dry. Using a craft knife, cut a cork into two pieces and put some glue on top of one of the halves. Then stick the cork to the underside of one of the pine cones, making sure it's in the middle. Once the glue is dry, stick a little star on top of the cone.

3. Winter Lantern
You'll need:
- glass jar
- waterbase sealer
- epsom salts
- cord
- small decorative leaves and berries
- craft glue
- tealight
Paint the outside of the glass jar with waterbase sealer — except for the bottom — and then roll it in the epsom salts until the glue is completely covered. Wrap a piece of cord around the rim of the jar and tie it in a bow. Stick some leaves and berries to the bow with craft glue. Finally, place a tealight in the jar.
