TACLOBAN CITY - It's still dark in many parts of Tacloban City, more than a month after the devastation brought by super typhoon "Yolanda." Aling Solidad lost everything but the kitchen sink when the super typhoon struck. Still, she manages to liven up her shanty by putting up a small Christmas tree that she found in the typhoon debris. When it rains, she goes to a neighbor's house to sleep because the tarpaulin sheet she uses as a roof won't hold back the water. Some residents said they have plenty of sardines and noodles but no more rice. The Department of Social Welfare and Development said it will only distribute relief goods to select families after Christmas. ABS-CBN UMAGANG KAY GANDA, December 24, 2013
