MANILA – The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) apprehended several buses on Thursday for violating the "closed-door policy." At least 11 units have been apprehended so far by the LTFRB for violating the policy, which requires a bus to have its doors closed while it is on the road. The LTFRB said the policy aims to prevent accidents, as some passengers tend to jump into the bus even if the vehicle is still on the road. The intensified campaign is part of LTFRB's "Oplan Exodus" this coming Holy Week. – report from Kori Quintos, ABS-CBN News
