South Korean President Moon Jae-in will be in Myanmar today - the second leg of this three-nation ASEAN tour. Like in Bangkok, he's expected to focus on ways to help Korean firms make in roads to the local market.

We plan to institutionalize the basis for economic cooperation with Myanmar, which has great potential for growth, and discuss ways to achieve joint sustainable growth."
President Moon is scheduled to visit two cities in Myanmar.
The first stop,... is the capital city of Nay Pyi Taw.
On Tuesday, Moon will sit down with State Councellor Aung San Suu Kyi to discuss ways both
countries can prosper together, cooperation between South Korea and ASEAN, as well as issues surrounding the Korean Peninsula.
And with President Win Myint,... President Moon will work to strengthen bilateral efforts to help push forward Korea's 'New Southern Policy.'
With Myanmar being another key part of Korea's 'New Southern Policy', President Moon will be seeking ways to expand economic ties and allow more South Korean companies to enter the local market.
And on Wednesday, the president visits his next stop, Yangon.
There, the president will deliver a speech at a business forum, held along with a groundbreaking ceremony for an industrial complex created by the two governments.
