MANILA - "We're all here working. It's nothing." These were the words of actor Xian Lim when asked to react to his on-screen partner Kim Chiu's reunion project with former boyfriend and long-time "love team" Gerald Anderson. Chiu and Anderson, dubbed "Kimerald" by their fans, recently appeared together in a TV ad for a coffee brand, some weeks after the former couple confirmed being in good terms again after a year of being estranged. Lim, whose tandem with Chiu took off in 2011 when they co-starred in the TV series "My Binondo Girl," said he does not consider any project of the actress with Anderson as competition. Asked how he feels that there still appears to be a huge following for the "Kimerald" tandem, Lim said: "Okay. (Laughs) No, kasi, they've been there tapos nagkaroon ng Kim-Xian." "I mean, meron si Kim sa sarili niya, meron din kaming sarili namin, so there's really no... Kumbaga, para naman sa akin, there's no competition involved. We're just having fun. Para sa akin, we're just here to make people happy. We're just here to make everything work," he said. Lim and Chiu are set to co-star for a third time in a film project, this time with comedienne Ai Ai delas Alas. The movie, with the working title "Past Tense," is produced by Star Cinema and under the direction of Mae Cruz. According to delas Alas, the film will start shooting in July.
