"Green Growth Index comprises 36 indicators measuring various aspects of green growth across 115 countries. So the idea is that we will present this and contribute to the innovative knowledge of green growth."
The index will be the highlight of the international event hosted by the institute later this month on so-called "green transitions."
The Global Green Growth Week will be attended by governments, NGOs and civic groups.
This year's event, the third of its kind, will start on October 21st.
The five-day conference will look at ways to use the index and explore potential projects for renewable energy.
