#Training through #pregnancy - 9 months of reality with training
Actually, I always wanted to write case studies about Nick, but the hardest part was to decide what the piece should be.
All coaches work with people who want to emulate everyone. Nicola Bruce, or 'Nick' as she is one of those most known.
Coastal #TrustPerformance Training (CFPT) community, a wife, a #motivated business professional and a loyal member of a dedicated customer.
History
Nick started his journey with CFPT in 2012, where he #regularlyparticipated in our outdoor SMAC sessions in the Happy Valley.
A talented athlete (as representing #HongKong #national team in hockey),
he sought to supplement his hockey training with a mixture of #strength and conditioning in a supportive and competitive group #environment.
Shortly after opening our North Point facility, Nick enrolled in our crossfit program #enthusiastically, looking for a high level of #health and #fitness,
as well as the #challenge of learning something new.
6 months later, and Nick entered his first crossfight competition, and the crown was crowned in the women's Downtown Throwdown Climbing Division.
It was clear to me that this girl was not only talented but also thirst for competition and victory.
During the next year, Nick continued to improve, and the ability to pick up the most 'technical' components of the crossfit very quickly.
He entered the game with his long-running and already well-developed aerobic system from hockey.
However, Nick and I both recognized that if he wants to become competitive in the game, he would have to give more priority to strengthening it.
During the next 9 months, Nick and I worked together in combination with personal training and i-train programs.
Together, we have set some realistic goals and have implemented a spike structure to ensure that all systems become active when the Crossover Open March 2015 arrives.
While Nick did not have specific performance goals, he was eager to sleep some "heavy" monsters of 2014.
As long as Nick did not contact me with some "important news" at #thebeginning of January 2015, everything went according to the plan ...
"#Iampregnant" ... Of course, my immediate reaction is in joy and happiness Was one, but after 10 seconds or so, we both looked at each other and it seemed like we knew what the other was thinking.
Although I knew that Nick had planned to start a family for a while, but I also knew that I was anxiously waiting for the announcement of 15.1, where we were coming for 12 months #hardwork .
One thing I definitely knew, it was that it was a person who would not be obstructing in the way of his #healthandfitness.
We knew that competition in the Crossfight Open 2015 was no longer a realistic or intelligent goal, so we returned to the design to prepare our plan for the next 9-12 months:
