Soya Chunks are rich with Fiber and Protein along with Carbohydrates. Soya Chunks and rice recipe is a good way of getting nutrition and taste.
Ingredients :
• Soya chunks - 1 Cup
• Basmati rice - 250gm
• Cloves - 3 numbers.
• Cinnamon sticks - 2 numbers.
• Shahi jeera - ½ teaspoon.
• Cashew nuts - 15 numbers.
• Green chili - 3 numbers.
• Ginger garlic paste - 2 teaspoons.
• Mint leaves - 1 spring.
• Coriander powder - 2 teaspoons.
• Red Chilli powder - 2 teaspoons.
• Garam masala - 1 teaspoon.
• Turmeric Powder - 1/2 teaspoon.
• Curd - 1/2 cup.
• Water - 2 cups.
• Coriander (chopped) - ½ teaspoon.
• Salt - to taste.
• Oil - as required.
• Cardamom - 3 numbers.
• Onions - 1 number.
• Chopped Carrot
• Chopped Capsicum
• Green Peas
• Curry Leaves
Method:
1. Soak the soya chunks in hot water for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes squeeze the water from chunks.
2. For marination, add chopped vegetables(carrot, capsicum, green peas), curd, mint leaves, salt to taste, red chili powder, ginger-garlic paste, garam masala, coriander powder, turmeric powder and mix it well.
3. Let's marinate the chunks mixture for 15 minutes
4. Heat ghee or oil in a pan and add cloves, cinnamon sticks, cardamom, shahi jeera, green chili, sliced onions, garam masala, coriander powder, turmeric powder and mix it well.
5.Salt saute it for 2 minutes, then add soya chunks mixture.
6. Add soaked rice and 2 glasses of water
7.Once it comes to boil, let it cook for 2 whistles in a high flame.
8. Switch off the flame After 5 to 6 minutes soya chunks pulao ready, and add chopped coriander leaves cook it for 2 minutes.
After 2 minutes serve it with raita or Mirchi ka salan.
