How to Jump Forward or Backward in VLC Media Player for 1 Second in Windows 10?

Step 1: Open the Video in VLC Media Player, and then pause the video.

Step 2: Click on 'Tools' in top menu, and then click on 'Preferences.'

Step 3: In the 'Interface' Section, click on 'All' at the bottom.

Step 4: Scroll down to interface, and then expand it, and then click on 'Hotkey Settings.'

Step 5: Go to 'Very short jump length,' and make the value to 1. After that, click on 'Save' button.

Hotekeys are:-

Very short backwards jump - Shift + Left arrow key
Very Short Forward jump - Shift + Right arrow key
