Germany Wants To Integrate Immigrants Before They Even Come

Our Commissioner for Integration Anette Widmann-Mauz has come out to announce that the governments efforts will already start in the countries of origin in the future. It is part of the National Action Plan for Integration which includes in its first phase an information campaign, strategies to woo professional specialists into the country, "preintegraion offers", language classes and a "migration and development cooperation." What shines through is not only a complete disregard for the tension in the public, but also the very limited understanding of integration as language classes and McJobs. Before you can even say, "Could you also ask them not to chop off my head for supposed blasphemy?," a headscarf-clad lady will lecture you on what democracy and racism is and what not. The aspect of wage competition, even for the academics, is ignored in the cult of equality depriving the young from any incentive to specialise while software developers from India are shipped in and mechanical engineers, in the current wake of deindustrialisation, are laid off. On top of it the country is suffering a severe brain drain with 76% of all emigrants being academics. Those who can jump the ship. Those who stay can't tell illiterates from specialists because feminism and a misunderstood sense for equality have taught us that child care and cleaning were just about as valuable as building machines or work as a surgeon.
