This is the heartwarming moment a rescuer released an eagle after nursing the bird back to health in the northeast Indian state of Assam.
The incident took place in Tezpur on April 21.
According to local sources, the eagle was injured after it had fallen on the ground and taken to a veterinarian where it was treated.
Footage shows the eagle being nurtured and fed water, before finally being released into the wild.
