NGT proposes no registration for diesel vehicles

The National Green Tribunal on Friday ruled that no new diesel vehicles can be bought by the Centre and Delhi government for now. The step is seen by experts as a major anti-pollution step after the much-debated odd-even rule in the capital. The tribunal has also recommended the same ban for private cars.
