Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reached Bihar's Champaran district on Tuesday to be a part of the concluding celebration of Centenary of Champaran Satyagraha. He will address "Swachchh Bharat Mission" volunteers and flag off a number of railway schemes, an official of East Champaran district said on Monday.
The Prime Minister's visit is a part of the concluding celebration of Champaran Satyagraha centenary launched by the Bihar Government in April last year.
All chief ministers and senior officials have been invited to the function. Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Union minister Radha Mohan Singh and other dignitaries are also set to attend the ceremony.
