This is a live view of EPCAMR's Trout Tank. Watch us raise these fish from eggs and to fingerlings to eventually release into an approved stream. Most of the time you are going to see a live view of the tank, but during maintenance and feedings we will set the camera up for viewers to watch how it's done. Trout are very sensitive to changes in water biology, chemistry, and temperature. Because of that, they are like the "canary in the coal mine" when it comes to indicating stream health.

Pennsylvania's statewide Trout In the Classroom (TIC) program is made possible through a unique partnership between the Pennsylvania Council of Trout Unlimited (PATU) and the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission (PFBC). This partnership provides curriculum resources, workshops for teachers and program partners, technical support, trout eggs and food, and grants.
