The Kerala govt has announced to take up various precautionary measures to deal with the spike in coronavirus cases in the state. On Thursday, Kerala reported 1,000 coronavirus cases, the biggest single-day spike in the state. Kerala is also the first state in India which has declared community transmission of Covid-19.
Some of the measures that state government plans to take up include door-to-door survey to detect Covid cases, the usage of drones to monitor people who are jumping quarantine, stringent rules on use of face masks, to condone off the containment zones in the state.
Despite the rise in the number of cases, Kerala has been one of the most appreciated states that was earlier praised to flatten the Covid-19 curve through its excellent healthcare system. For more, watch the full video.
