Cross-border travel under the Reciprocal Green Lane (RGL) and Periodic Commuting Arrangement (PCA) is expected to start on Aug 17 at the earliest.
This comes after Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein met with his Singapore counterpart Dr Vivian Balakrishnan at the Causeway here on Sunday (July 26).
Hishammuddin said that applications can be submitted from Aug 10 but reminded eligible travellers - especially Malaysians - to follow the standard operating procedures (SOPs) both Governments had agreed upon.
