Another boy in a religious school whipped with a hose

Not long after the death of a schoolboy in Johor, news of another boy being whipped with a hose at a religious school has surfaced. Datuk Azizul Rahman Mohd Zaman said a teacher at a religious school in Batang Kali had whipped his grandson’s soles with a water hose for failing to memorise verses in the Quran.
