Journalist Pawan Jaiswal Booked For Mirzapur Mid-day Meal Scheme Report, UP Govt Says Video Shot With Agenda

Pawan Jaiswal, a journalist who shot children at a Mirzapur primary school in Uttar Pradesh being served rotis and salt as part of mid-day meal scheme has been booked by the UP government under criminal laws and an FIR has been registered against him. More than 100 journalists also protested at the Mirzapur Collectorate office in support of the journalist and the Editors Guild also fired the UP government against the move. Meanwhile, Senior District Officer Priyanka Niranjan from the UP government said that video was shot with a purpose.
