‘Delhi Chalo’ protest enters day 17

Agitating farmers continued to camp on the outskirts of Delhi on December 12. The ‘Delhi Chalo’ protest has entered day 17 today. Protesting farmers stayed put at Singhu border to protest against three new farm laws. Farmers had rejected govt’s proposal on Dec 09 and threatened to intensify their protest if new laws are not repealed. However, the government urged farmer leaders to resolve issues through dialogue.
