00:10buhay mo o maging maayos yung buhay mo
00:12Parang 'yon yung natutunan ko dito na
00:16kung gusto mong gawin ang isang bagay, gawin mo
00:28They are working in all the departments of the company
00:32So they are in logistics, in inventory, in sales and marketing,
00:36and finance and HR, production, of course
00:41So they're all there and the idea is we kind of place them
00:45in departments that they are interested in
00:48and where we feel we can develop them the most
00:50All of us business managers also help in the mentoring and the tutoring
00:54and all these other things that, I guess they were void off when they were younger
00:59So a lot of parenting also from us managers
01:10With Messy Bessy, we always treated it as a business
01:14Social enterprises sometimes they get confused
01:19and still try to rely very heavily on grants and foundations
01:22but that doesn't make you an enterprise anymore
01:25I think that makes you an NGO
01:27So I think what we are doing and what we are continuing to do
01:32is really choose to run as a legit business
01:37The people here, the people in my team are highly competent people,
01:42highly experienced in the business world
01:45We're also continuing to make other lines for Messy Bessy
02:03I'm Angela Mae Deligero
02:05I'm 29 years old
02:06I started in Messy Bessy since 2011
02:18is as operation assistant
02:32which is yung Manila Business College kaya nakapag-college kami
02:36and then 'yong program namin is what we call HOP [or the] Helping Ourselves Program
02:48'Di ba yung sa mga ibang college grad and meron sila is yung diploma nila sa school
