Easy Amritsari Chole Bhature Recipe
Today I am sharing a delicious and most popular punjabi recipe of Chole Bhature. In this a spiced tangy chickpea curry is served with soft and fluffy fried leavened bread that is bhatura. Hope u will like my recipe. Do give this a try and share ur experience in comments.
Ingredients
For Making Chole:
Chickpea/chana - 250g (soaked overnight)
Salt - as per taste
Baking soda - 1/2 tsp
Cinnamon - 1 stick
Black cardamon - 2
Tea bag - 1
Water - 1 cup
Oil - 1/4 cup
Cumin - 1 tsp
Bay leave - 1
Onion - 1 chopped
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
Onion paste - 1/4 cup (1 medium size onion)
Chana masala - 1 tbsp
Coriander powder - 1 tbsp
Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
Turmeric - 1/4 tsp
Cumin powder - 1/2 tsp
Tomato puree - 1 cup
Ginger - 1 inch sliced
Green chilli - 2 sliced
Salt - as per taste
Garam masala - 1 tsp
Anardana/amchur powder - 1 tsp
Roasted dry Fenugreek leave- 1 tbsp
Fresh coriander leaves - to garnish
For Making Bhatura:
All purpose flour/maida - 2 cups
Suji/rava - 2 tbsp
Salt - as per taste
Yoghurt/curd - 1/4 cup
Baking soda - 1/2 tsp
Baking powder - 1 tsp
Oil - 3 tbsp
Water - to knead dough
Oil - for frying Bhatura
