A bunch of newly planted Aglaonema plant, popularly known as Chinese evergreen mysteriously disappeared at Jalan Desa Kiara in Mont Kiara, Kuala Lumpur recently and has left the owners, the Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) miffed.

Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) Corporate Planning Department director Khairul Azmir Ahmad condemned the theft and said the plants looked to be meticulously removed to be re-planted elsewhere.

Khairul warned those caught stealing or destroying city assets can be fined under the Vandalism (Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur) by-laws 1991 which carries a maximum compound of RM2000.
