Jalan Masjid India area safe, says KL mayor

Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) has given assurance that the entire area in Jalan Masjid India is safe to visit and no stalls or buildings have been ordered to close operation.

Kuala Lumpur Mayor Datuk Seri Dr Maimunah Mohd Sharif told reporters on Friday (Sept 6) that the area currently closed with barriers involves a path of about 200m from Wisma Yakin to the police hut to make way for rehabilitation and construction work at the location of the sinkhole incident.
