KHwab-e-giran-e-gham se mujhe kyun jaga diya
kuchh shorishen taghaful-e-pinhan mein thin jinhen
hangama-zar-e-hashr-e-tamanna bana diya
baDhta hi ja raha hai jamal-e-nazar-fareb
husn-e-nazar ko husn-e-KHud-ara bana diya

اے شوخئ نگاہ کرم مدتوں کے بعد
خواب گران غم سے مجھے کیوں جگا دیا
کچھ شورشیں تغافل پنہاں میں تھیں جنہیں
ہنگامہ زار حشر تمنا بنا دیا
بڑھتا ہی جا رہا ہے جمال نظر فریب
حسن نظر کو حسن خود آرا بنا دیا
