The art of 'Katana' preservation in Japan

This Japanese sword is called a`Katana’. It is a traditional sword with an elaborate blade. An ornament of detail, most of its parts are handmade. This sword is a weapon which was used in samurai war years ago. These craftsmen have been making Katanas for the last 22 years after getting trained from a sword craft master. It takes almost three months to make one of these swords. This shop in Tokyo sells them and these craftsmen have permission from the government to make traditional Japanese swords.
