India reports 1.86 lakh new Covid cases, recovery rate improves to 90%

India reported 1,86,364 new COVID-19 cases and 3,660 fatalities in the last 24 hours by taking the tally to 3,18,895. 2,59,459 people were discharged in the same duration. Currently, the country has 23,43,152 active cases. So far, 20,57,20,660 people have been vaccinated. As per Indian Council of Medical Research (IMCR), 33,90,39,861 samples were tested for COVID-19 up to May 27, 2021. Of these, 20,70,508 samples were tested yesterday.
