Efforts to combat GBVF hailed

The Gender-Based Violence and Femicide Response Fund has hailed the adoption of two pieces of legislation aimed at strengthening its fight. The Criminal Law Amendment Act and the Domestic Violence Amendment Bill were adopted by the Justice committee over the weekend. The fund says this is a step in the right direction.
