00:00Take a look at what happened, Bill.
00:03One week since the assassination attempt of the former president at a campaign rally in Butler,
00:08Pennsylvania. Authorities appear to be no closer to declaring a motive,
00:15but a clear picture of the shooter and the actions of 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks
00:19is emerging. A source familiar with the investigation telling NBC News Crooks flew
00:24a drone at the rally site mere hours before Donald Trump took the stage.
00:28While common for the Secret Service to ban drones over areas they are securing,
00:33it's unclear if that happened in this case. Drone and drone equipment were found in Crooks' car,
00:38according to a senior law enforcement source. Two senior law enforcement sources tell NBC News
00:43the FBI has uncovered more than 14,000 links on the phone of the shooter,
00:47and that online searches by Crooks involved depressive disorder, explosive materials,
00:52and chemical compounds, as well as information about the 2021 Oxford High School mass shooting
00:57and convicted shooter Ethan Crumbly. The details come as actions by the Secret Service come under
01:03growing scrutiny, including how long it took to get former President Trump off the stage
01:08following the shooting. The tense moments captured in this video posted on social media.
01:16The Department of Homeland Security Office of Inspector General opening three probes examining
01:20the Secret Service's actions. All of it as pressure mounts on Director Kimberly

01:41George joins me now from Butler, and George, Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheadle says
01:44she has no plans to resign. Yeah, that's right, Jose, no plans to resign, and it comes as the
01:50in-battle director is expected to testify before House Oversight Committee about the agency's
01:55response and security at the rally, as those calls for her to resign only grow louder. Jose?
