Speaking at The Indian Express Idea Exchange event senior Congress leader Jairam Ramesh said he was deeply saddened by the resignation of Jitin Prasada from the party and subsequently joining the BJP. He added that Congress does need to get its house in order but disagreed that Congress was falling apart. Ramesh said that the party needed to work on strategies to connect with the younger generation & project itself as a strong organization. The Congress leader recently authored a book on the Buddha titled ‘The Light of Asia’.
