00:01:41On the front line in this battle is the Bureau of Customs
00:01:44of the United States Treasury Department.
00:01:47Part of its job is to check every piece of incoming baggage
00:01:51to see that no contraband is smuggled through.
00:01:55There are lots of tricks in the smuggling racket.
00:01:58The customs men are trained to know them all,
00:02:00the new ones, the old ones, and a few more.
00:02:04Yet despite the vigilance of these men,
00:02:07the flow of narcotics into the United States has never been completely checked.
