Ravi Shastri, the head coach of the Indian cricket team, said the 2-1 series win in Australia was the "greatest" ever given the numerous challenged the team faced Down Under. India scored a sensational win in the fourth and final Test at Gabba in Brisbane to win the series 2-1 and keep the Border Gavaskar Trophy. The sheer grit shown by the youngsters was unbelievable and stand-in captain Ajinkya Rahane said the youngsters can only get better and stronger from here. Rishabh Pant, Shubman Gill, Washington Sundar and Mohammed Siraj won special praise from the coach and the captain but Rahane said it was the combined team effort that did the trick.
