Ingredients:
1 tbsp warm milk
1 tbsp dry yeast
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg + 1 egg white (yolk for brushing)
a sachet of vanilla sugar
100g melted butter
a pinch of salt
5 cups of flour
1/3 tsp turmeric
sesame seeds for sprinkling
Baking process:
Stir milk, sugar and yeast. Wait for 5-10 minutes until the yeast become activated. Next, add the egg, egg white, vanilla sugar, butter, salt and mix. Sift flour and add turmeric. Knead a soft elastic dough. Grease the container with vegetable oil and put the dough there. Leave the dough in a warm place for 40 minutes. Next, put the dough on a baking sheet covered with parchment and flatten it with your hands to form a circle. Cover with foil and leave the dough for another 20 minutes. Then add a little milk to the yolk and brush the dough. Bake in a preheated oven up to 356 F until golden brown.
