WB: University professor turns terrace into rooftop garden in Midnapore

Dr Keshab Chandra Mondal, a university professor from Midnapore, has turned his terrace into a beautiful lush green rooftop garden in West Bengal. While speaking to ANI, he encouraged the use of kitchen waste and organic materials for rooftop gardening. “Free space is gradually declining for each household. So we can use the rooftop for gardening. We have to follow the principle of using the organic materials for growing the plants. The kitchen waste can be used for this,” the professor said.
