Around 6,500 Olive Ridley turtles have been caught on beach burrows this year on the beaches of Goa and released safely into the sea. The Odisha government is striving for the conservation of these rare species of turtles.

गोवा के समुद्र तटों पर इस साल करीब 6,500 ओलिव रिडले कछुओं को समुद्र तट के बिलों से पकड़कर समुद्र में सुरक्षित छोड़ा गया है। इन दुर्लभ प्रजाति के कछुओं के संरक्षण के लिए ओडिशा सरकार प्रयासरत है।
