Bhagavad Gita 3.36-38
by HG Dravida Dasa 5/3/2022
Although a person may not want to sin, he may be forced to do so, not by the Supersoul by another cause: lust. When a living entity comes in contact with the material creation, his eternal love for Krishna is transformed into lust due to his association with the mode of passion. And when his lust is unsatisfied, it turns into wrath, which is transformed into illusion, which continues his material existence. Therefore lust is the greatest enemy of the living entity, for it is lust alone that forces him to remain entangled in the material world.
