On May 10, son of late Philippines dictator Ferdinand Marcos headed for a landslide presidential election victory, reported AFP. Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Marcos Junior secured almost 30 million votes when more than 90 percent of an initial count was concluded, reported AFP. Marcos addressed his supporters late at night and thanked them for their sacrifice and hard work. The leader did not claim victory and said, “the count is not yet done,” reported AFP.
