Murdered Jack Woodley 'had no chance', says officer

The senior officer investigating the murder of 18-year-old Jack Woodley by a gang of ten teenagers has said despite the "traumatic" nature of convicting children for murder, it was the "right decision".

DCI Joanne Brooks said: "They knew there were weapons in there and in that instant, they chose to go and get involved together to create an opportunity were Jack had no chance."

The ten defendants were found guilty of murder in June and were handed life sentences on Friday. Report by Buseld. Like us on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/itn and follow us on Twitter at http://twitter.com/itn
